Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Zimmerman Advertising, an Omnicom Group company, is the country’s leading national retail brand builder, and the 14th largest advertising agency in the United States. After using another advertising agency for 15 years, the fast-food chain White Castle signed with Zimmerman, which in turn called on Moving Picture for the production of the most recent round of product shots. Under the leadership of Vice President/Director of Broadcast Production Richard Nez, and Agency Producer Ron Warner, a seasoned crew was assembled for the project.

Moving Picture provided the camera, an AJ-HDX900 DVCPRO HD Camcorder fitted with HD Snorkel lens, HD monitors, video assist and engineers on the job. The camera was jib-mounted for smooth camera moves.

Producer's Cheat Sheet™ Tip: Panasonic Scene Files |
Having Total Control Over "Look"
During these hard economic times, producers
are going back to their roots, re-training themselves to be
shooters of small projects...
Whether simply documenting their children growing up or shooting speculative projects on their own, there are some simple settings within the camera's basic setup, that can elevate these projects above the tier of off-the-hip home video.
Scene files can change everything about how a camera performs, from changes in frame rate, to complete changes in the color correction matrix and gamma used to create "Looks". There are several scene files offered for most current camera manufacturers, each containing a unique look that can be stored in the camera or read from the camera’s built-in SD card slot. To change a look, you must change the scene file’s parameters for tone and color. One example, Panasonic, has done that for you by creating many different scene files for each camera.
